Nintendo Christmas

I shot quite a few pictures today but wasn't happy with any of them, really. I wanted to capture the quintessential Christmas picture but never managed to get anything even close. This one at least captures how my kids spent a good bit of their day: playing away on the Nintendo DS's that Santa brought them. Maybe that is the quintessential Christmas picture now — a kid playing a Gameboy? Anyhow, the kids were kind enough to let their tired parents sleep in this morning(amazing!). Then, after covering portions of the house with torn paper and wrappings, we spent the rest of the day just hanging out — and that was very, very nice. If you celebrate Christmas, I hope yours was as nice as ours. :) Merry Christmas!
