Lifeguard Shack

This is one of the art deco lifeguard shacks along Miami's South Beach. On my last trip there, we had a few hours to kill before going to the airport, so we headed for South Beach. Of course, the previous six days of the trip were beautiful but there was no time for anything but work. This day, however, was steel-grey. South Beach is a fun area to walk around, and to people watch. You can plop yourself down at one of the dozens of outdoor cafes, order a drink, and sit back as a strange cast of characters passes by.
