Old Graffiti

This wall carving at Fort Charlotte in Nassau illustrates how boring it must have been being a British soldier posted here in the 18th century. The inside of the walls that face the harbor are covered in carvings like this (though the guy that did this one was a bit more skilled than most.) Personally, I had a great time staring out at the blue water but I guess if I did it month after month, I'd get bored with it, too.
