Where the Phones Were
I shot this in the Phoenix airport, at one of the Southwest Airlines gates, while I waited for my flight home. I liked the colors and that you could still see the outline of the phones. I was also bored to tears, having gotten to the gate 90 minutes before take-off so that I could be sure to get an aisle seat. For those of you who haven't flown Southwest, it's a nice airline in every respect but one: no reserved seating. Getting a seat on a Southwest plane is like trying to get front row at a rock concert. Think "festival seating." Think "rush the stage." Think "cattle." Moooooooo!!! And I could have slept in as the plane was 90% empty.
