The Missouri River at Hermann, MO.

I recently tagged along with my wife, Jeanie, to a children's writers workshop in Hermann where she was speaking. Since I'm most definitely NOT a children's writer, I brought my bike along to give me something to do (and keep me out of the way.) This is the view from one of the hills in Hermann's little downtown. Hermann, by the way, is an old German-settled town that is now most famous (around here) for wineries and bed & breakfasts.
