Derelict Dock

It's been far too long since I've posted here. Though I've been shooting on and off, the images have been getting dumped to my hard drive without much thought. Time to change that. This is the remains of a dock at the Edison and Ford Estates — as in Thomas Edison and Henry Ford — in Fort Myers, FL. Edison summered there for many years and had a laboratory on the property. Ford bought the house next door so that he and his wife would have a place to stay when they came to celebrate Edison's birthday each year. The HDR image was created from a single RAW file in Photomatix Pro, then tweaked in Photoshop CS3.
